Future Leaders Forum

The Toro Company and Walt Disney World Resort partnered with The First Tee to create a program for The First Tee participant to explore a variety of career opportunities within and outside the golf industry. This innovative program will be available for up to 50 high school students. It will include a three-day immersion in the sport, business and science of golf, as well as provides character education to help prepare our participants to be tomorrow's leaders. During the Future Leaders Forum, participants will attend interactive sessions covering leadership from the Disney Institute, turf management, golf management and education. They will also take a behind-the-scenes tour at the Children's Miracle Network Classic at the Walt Disney World Resort to learn what it takes to run a PGA TOUR tournament and explore how their career choice might be utilized in the golf industry.

January 13, 2010 - Application process Open
May 7, 2010 - Application process Close
July 30, 2010 - Applicants and Chapters Notified
November 11 - 14, 2010 - Future Leaders Forum in Orlando, Florida
