The Danny Gans Junior Golf Academy is a program of The First Tee of Southern Nevada and is available to all current members of TFTSN.
• Smaller Group Clinic setting with Certified Golf Instructors.
• Youth ages 6 through 17
• Fundamentals of golf, along with life skills, healthy habits and core value lessons offered exclusively through The First Tee.
• Clubs provided if necessary.
The DGJGA clinics consists of a one hour group instruction clinic, once a week for six weeks and available at the times noted below. Each session consists of five sections, covering every golf level ability. At the end of each six week session, participants will be given an individual assessment on their life skill and golf abilities. and are encouraged to enroll in the next level. All new participants must enroll as "PLAYer" level.
"Q School" is a six week program for The First Tee of Southern Nevada participant who is now ready to transition their golf skills developed on the driving range to the golf course. During a two hour a week clinic, participants are coached on golf etiquette, rules and course management as just some of the highlights of Q School. Participants must be PAR certified and recommended by a coach of TFTSN.
