Danny Gans, The Man of Many Voices, was an extraordinary performer who passed away May 1, 2009.  He opened for a 12-week run at Encore in January 2009 and previously had performed at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for eight years.  He had just celebrated a milestone in his career in Las Vegas, with box office receipts surpassing $200 million and audience counts exceeding two million.  He had received numerous honors, including “Show of the Year,” Comedian of the Year,” “Singer of the Year,” and “Entertainer of the Year” 11 times.
